Job Summary

Performs daily account activities, internal auditing, budgeting, and report preparation. Assist Controller in managing and supporting the administrative and operations for ASI-Southeast.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides support to controller.
  • Prepares Monthly financial reports.
  • Ensures timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
  • Performs regular analysis of book and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
  • Participates in capital process to ensure proper evaluation and presentation of capital needs and compliance with approved budget.
  • Oversees end-of-year change over.
  • Maintains program analysis.
  • Prepares audit schedules and support.
  • Assists with budget preparation.
  • Maintains fixed assets.
  • Complies composite reports from individual reports of subordinates required by management or government agencies.
  • Responsible for monthly closing of financial books.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts.

 

Work Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills

 Physical Requirements:

Punctual attendance to work is required. This position requires a moderate to high degree of standing, walking, stooping or kneeling, close eye work, reaching, pulling or pushing.  Ability to distinguish color.  Good hand dexterity, hearing, and vision are considered essential.  A moderate to high degree of repetitive motions using right, left, or both hands and/or feet may also be required.  Requires wearing personal protective equipment when on the plant floor.
