The Welder/Brazier in responsible for safely and efficiently weld/braze products in accordance with work instructions, by using specialized and approved tooling to perform standardized work and ensure product quality.

• Produce units within the standard cycle times, while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate welding/brazing equipment safely and effectively.
• Support standardized work processes and team goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Verify all previous parts have been assembled, and or welded correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Ability to determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specifications.
• Inspect and examine completed work pieces for defects.
• The Welder is familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
• Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Adherence to health and safety regulations (constant use of PPE)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to determine and inspect product for variations/defects of welds required.
• Ability to keep up machinery, ability to do minor to moderate adjustments on machinery.
• Ability to read and follow specific work instructions in English.
• Flexible to handle frequent business need changes.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with variable season temperatures.

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures. (TIG, MMA etc.)
• Previous manufacturing welding/brazing experience.
• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:
This position requires a moderate to high degree of standing, walking, stooping or kneeling, close eye work, reaching, pulling or pushing. Good hand dexterity, hearing, and vision are considered essential. A moderate to high degree of repetitive motions using right, left, or both hands and/or feet may also be required. Moderate to Steady lifting of up to 50lbs. required. Requires wearing personal protective equipment. Requires working indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions.
