Production Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR function. This role is responsible for HRIS data entry, onboarding preparation, recruitment administrative support, employee record maintenance, and coordination of HR processes. This position supports the HR team and helps ensure efficient and compliant HR operations.
key duties and Responsibilities
HRIS and Employee Data Administration
- Enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems
- Process employee changes including but not limited to:
- Direct deposit updates
- Address changes
- Status changes
- Terminations
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records
Onboarding and New Hire Support
- Prepare new hire paperwork and onboarding materials
- Create employee badges
- Assist with onboarding coordination
- Serve as backup presenter for new hire orientation
Recruitment Administrative Support
- Schedule interviews
- Maintain applicant tracking records
- Maintain recruitment files and documentation for compliance
- Support recruiter with administrative tasks and reporting
- Assist with candidate communications as directed
Training and Compliance Tracking
- Track employee training completion
- Maintain training records and documentation
- Generate training reports as needed
Administrative Support
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Track temporary employee logs
- Assist with HR reporting and metrics tracking
- Provide general administrative support to HR team
Employee Support
- Respond to routine employee questions
- Redirect inquiries as appropriate
Other Duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Work Experience and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of HR or related administrative experience required; HR experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites and related software.
Physical Requirements:
Punctual attendance to work is required. This position requires prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Some degree of standing, walking, stooping or kneeling. Requires wearing personal protective equipment in production areas.
