Job Summary:

 Manages the operational integrity and performance of enterprise applications including ERP Systems, Integration Middleware, Database Administration, and PL/SQL Programming.  Assists IT Team members with targeted systems tasks and support.

Job Tasks:

 Manages the maintenance and support of a portfolio of diverse and complex ERP applications within ASI organization to include the management of integration middleware.

  • Participate in budgeting and budget approval and monitoring of project financials.
  • Works with ERP architecture and various Business/Operations partners to achieve ASI’s strategic business objectives and mission.
  • Facilitate daily project planning activities and integrate individual project strategies into an overall strategy to ensure the effective execution of projects within IT portfolio of initiatives
  • Ensure project related resourcing is effectively articulated and monitor project work to identify and address changes to project scopes and/or resource requirements in a timely manner.
  • Establishes priorities and documents staffing requirements for current and future years.
  • Define SMART delivery goals in alignment with Functional Leads.
  • Effectively plan all design, development and testing work to ensure delivery in needed time frames.
  • Collaborate with and build excellent partnerships with the business to understand business strategy and needs, and with technologies and other business technical teams to build a supporting development strategy and roadmap.
  • Deliver business technology solutions and ensure they meet business partner needs related to requirements and time to deliver, following defined system development processes
  • Maintain expertise in production development tools.
  • Provide strategic and operational direction and day-to-day leadership to a team of highly technical employees at the Georgia Location (and other locations as required per CIO). To include hiring, Career development, coach and counseling, and disciplinary actions when required.
  • Supports and assists other IT teams with projects or initiatives, as needed. Backup support for other IT roles.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related Information Technology areas, or an Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or related field with applicable experience.
  • Minimum 15 years IT experience with a degree in CS (see education above) or

which at least 7 years at senior IT management level in manufacturing with an emphasis on ERP administration and development.

  • Previous experience in Management or Supervision is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques used in continuous improvement in manufacturing environments.

  • Must be able to react quickly and calmly under stressful situations.
